I have been teaching professionally for over 16 years and love to see the joy it brings people when they make progress on their instrument. It’s great to meet people from all walks of life and help them achieve their musical goals whether it being able to play a riff or two, pass their grades, make their own music or play in a band!

Music has been a passion of mine from a young age, going on to study it at university and play in several bands both on guitar and bass, as well as playing solo. Teaching is a real joy; I get to talk music, play music, and help people make their own music! I love teaching all sorts of genres, but I especially enjoy acoustic styles or anything with interesting rhythms and patterns.

It’s such a privilege to teach guitar and to pass onto others the skills and knowledge that have brought so much happiness and opportunity to my own life. To see the buzz and excitement when a person learns something new is both incredible and inspiring.
